Hi there — glad you found us.
We're Paul's Details.
Your neighborhood auto repair shop on Greenland Road in Jacksonville. We take the guesswork out of car care so you can get back on the road with confidence.
Complete auto care,
from routine to complex
Whether it's an oil change or an engine overhaul, we've got the tools, the know-how, and the patience to do it right.
Engine Diagnostics
Check engine light on? We'll read the codes, find the real problem, and explain it in plain English — no surprises on the bill.
Brake Service
Pads, rotors, calipers — we handle it all. Spongy pedal or grinding noise? Don't wait. Brakes are the difference between getting home safely and not.
Oil & Fluids
Conventional, synthetic, high-mileage — we'll recommend what your engine actually needs and change it before it becomes a bigger problem.
Transmission
Slipping gears, delayed shifts, fluid leaks — transmission issues get worse the longer you ignore them. We diagnose early and fix right.
Suspension & Steering
Uneven tire wear, pulling to one side, or that clunk over a bump? We'll inspect your shocks, struts, tie rods, and alignment.
Battery & Electrical
Dead battery, flickering lights, alternator trouble — we test everything electric and get you running again, fast.
A shop that treats your car like it's theirs
Paul's Details has been serving Jacksonville right here on Greenland Road for years. We're not a chain, we're not trying to upsell you on things you don't need, and we won't pretend your car needs a repair it doesn't.
When you pull into our bay, you get straight talk. We'll tell you what's urgent, what can wait, and what's probably fine. You decide what to do — we're here to help you make the right call.
Trusted by Jacksonville drivers
We let our work speak for itself — but our customers are happy to share, too.
"Brought my truck in with a weird noise I'd been ignoring. Paul figured it out in minutes and explained exactly what was wrong. No upsell, no drama — just a fair price and a fixed truck. That's rare."
"I've been bringing my cars here for years. They're always honest about what needs attention now and what can wait. I never feel like I'm being sold something I don't need."
"My car broke down on Beach Blvd and they got me in the same day. Quick, affordable, and they actually called to let me know when it was ready. Won't go anywhere else."
Your car deserves a second opinion.
